Indications (What It Treats)

  • Treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) in small dogs
  • Immediate killing action and persistent protection against new adult flea infestations for up to 8 weeks
  • Effective as a tick treatment (acaricide) for the following species:
  • Ixodes ricinus: up to 2 weeks
  • Rhipicephalus sanguineus: up to 3 weeks
  • Dermacentor reticulatus: up to 4 weeks
  • Can be used as part of a flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) management plan, under veterinary advice

Dosage & Administration

  • Apply one 0.67 ml pipette per dog weighing 2–10 kg
  • Application method:
    1. Hold pipette upright and tap the narrow part to move contents to the base
    2. Break off the snap top along the scored line
    3. Part the dog’s coat between the shoulder blades until skin is visible
    4. Place pipette tip directly on the skin and gently squeeze to empty the contents in one or two spots
  • Avoid bathing or water immersion immediately after application to maintain efficacy

Contraindications & Precautions

  • For external use only
  • Not for use in cats
  • Not suitable for puppies under 8 weeks or dogs under 2 kg
  • Do not use on sick or convalescing animals without veterinary advice
  • Toxic to aquatic life – avoid contaminating water sources
  • Prevent licking of the application site by treated animals or other pets
  • If the treated area appears sticky or wet, avoid touching until it dries completely (usually within 24 hours)
