Indications (What It Treats)

  • For the treatment of infestations by fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) in dogs
  • Immediate insecticidal effect and persistent action against new adult flea infestations for up to 8 weeks
  • Effective as an acaricide (tick control) against:
    • Ixodes ricinus: up to 2 weeks
    • Rhipicephalus sanguineus: up to 3 weeks
    • Dermacentor reticulatus: up to 4 weeks
  • May be used as part of a strategy in managing flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) when diagnosed by a veterinarian

Dosage & Administration

  • Use one 1.34 ml pipette per dog weighing 10–20 kg
  • Application method:
    1. Hold pipette upright and tap the narrow part so contents settle
    2. Break off the snap top along the scored line
    3. Part the fur between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible
    4. Place the pipette tip on the skin and squeeze gently to release contents in one or two spots
  • Avoid bathing or immersing the dog in water immediately after application, as this may reduce effectiveness

 Contraindications & Precautions

  • For external use only
  • Do not use on cats
  • Not for puppies under 8 weeks or dogs under 10 kg
  • Not to be used in sick (e.g. systemic diseases, fever) or convalescing animals without veterinary advice
  • Toxic to aquatic organisms – avoid environmental contamination
  • Prevent treated animals from being licked by other pets
  • If the treated area appears wet or sticky, it may indicate excess product – avoid excessive wetting near the application site for 24 hours
